To me, it no longer looks like an investigation for a fixed game.
If some games/teams are suspicious for fixed action, why to offer the same markets again in such a short period of time.
Maybe there is something else here that has to do with P/L strictly.

Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen
Tney simply dont care and dont give a crap about exchange since years. Adding games even seconds before kick off (was a day before for all matches before), chat being pretty useless since ages there. I got my account suspended for KYC, took them a MONTH to realize they got a mess there and my docs I sent them disappeared somewhere (which was oficially confirmed and I got an answer it was sorted and should not happen for anyone in the future) so I wouldnt looking for any logic here. Even when Betfair was great exchange years ago there were matches with huge amount of money traded, pretty obvious for anyone on the planet that some teams are experts in fixing week after week (anyone remember Jurmala? Or Baltija case?) but they were offering them week after week. Never heard about Betfair stop offering any team even if they were officially known as fixers.
I just said "goodbye" to my money already. If they wasnt able (or didnt want to - would be better to describe such behaviour) to sort this out within a week I would expect investigating for months. Yeah they may pay out, summer next year...

I do not accept to give up. This is pure Theft on the Internet!
I will chase this up harsh if they don't resolve in reasonable time.

Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen
Its not about givin up. Im a lawyer. At least in my country big companies can do pretty much everything they want hiding behind T&C. Same here. If they included there - what I mentioned before - such statement like "we reserve right to investigate as long as needed" its not a theft from legal point of view and even their regulator wont help. They will say its not up to them only and they cannot do anything at this level of investigation so we need to wait. Thats how soft bookies work these days, pretty much all bookies. They will pay you in the end, dont worry, but will delay as long as possible.

Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen
Other important question here is what exactly they investigate? Is it match fixing which makes no sense since there are tons of potentially fixed game, there is such a game daily. Or do they suspect funds passing which is rather quite vague reason again. It seems when they can't explain what they suspect they use this reason funds passing. But how could be funds passing in a major market from Seria B with 300-400k matched. Yesterday's Pelotas game was with same amount matched on o/u1.5 FH, why is this market also not investigated for same reason?
Thousand of questions which point to the fact that Betfair act out of logic here. Maybe there were some bad guys involved but 90% of the bettors involved in the market are pure victims like us. This case in unbelievably bad and harsh for us normal punters.

Sure funds passing in a game like that seems stupid with huge cost to try .. also fixed games is not rare to cause this delay .. but still things may take some time to clear .
What i dont get at all and worth all of us to focus is why the need to block both loss and wins in same market !! makes no sence for both cases since no profit has been made and just punishing innocent traders !!!! in a trading platform .
They can just freeze profits if this is going to take long ...
A third reason that has happened to me before and took 15 days to fix was wrong live settlement that they didnt get fast ... this is no case here right ?
Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen
Whatever the reason its good thing in my opinion for the market to investigate and not settle fast ... for many reasons.BM11 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 9:13 amOther important question here is what exactly they investigate? Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen
Hmm, you got me thinking now. If we refuse such reasons like fixing or funds passing your third option may be the one. I noticed that Betfair got quite few wrong times lately, one match I was involved with (but this game was immediately suspended for whole game before kick off). Also I noticed that they offered few games with wrong scores. I mean, lets say there was a goal scored already but o.0.5 market was still offered. So you may be right. They may not be able for some reason to identify real kick off time. Anyone watched this game from the beggining? Any delay there with kick off?

That's why they need to confirm the investigation reason as a start so we know.

I will send a question to the agents and lets see what they say. My guess is they will not answer.

No one had a bet there with Betfair here really? Would pass you e-mail to Peter Jackson, he helped me before so he may be able to at least get us update.
