Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen
We are in touch with BIA. So far (Sunday evening) they are not instructed to return any funds. It is weird indeed.

Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen
Still waiting on resolution. They told me on Saturday that the issue comes to an end very soon whatever that means, They said the latest on Sunday they will resolve it. No resolution yet, not keeping their word either.
There is no reasonable explanation how Asianconnect can return money 3 days ago and the rest cannot!!!

Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen
I am pretty sure all agents have identical info, but it could be that AC88 accepted the risk.

Update
BIA's related department will inform all players properly via email once the procedure is fully completed from their side.

Will avoid Pelotas markets in the future, every single game of theirs is with such amounts traded. I don't want get blocked again.

Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen (resolved)
We are all getting wiser with cases like this. Unfortunately, our forum being the only genuine pro-betting forum globally, is condemned to have many threads like this, as this is the forum where they all turn in times of trouble. I m always noticing a spike in the number of visitors and clicks when we have similar stories.
My experience so far is saying that Betfair investigation of this type can take seriously long time, maybe more than a year, and in most cases (if not all), Betfair has been correct by it. I m always very skeptic when I see bettors accusing Betfair for investigations. Those who are in the space for some time now, they know I would be the last to defend them.
Is BIA/AC88 or any other agent/broker to be blamed here? Absolutely not, they are doing what the upper line is telling them to do. And upper line is doing what their upper line is telling them to do also, so all hands are tied here. I m pretty sure everyone knows how the round Marry situation goes and again, I m very skeptic when I see players accusing the agents (BIA, AC88) or Orbit in cases like this. These players are simply trying to press the agent, hoping that Betfair will be pressed too. Sorry guys, it doesn’t work this way.
Now let’s get to the core of this incident by providing an example. If there is a significant action (trade or not) on certain event and certain market (eg 30th minute 0:0 and there is massive backing of over 1.5 goals and HT is with 2+ goals), Betfair likes to take action against those bets as people behind them "knew something”. Isn’t it logic to assume?
Of course there were 100s of players who simple arbed the event by backing an outcome in a soft bookmaker (like bet365) and then laying it in the exchange. I m perfectly fine with these people. There were 100s of people who also traded the event in Betfair (or Orbit), and I m perfectly fine with them too. But…
Most of those guys absolutely know what they are doing having 2-3k trade profits on 2nd tier Brazil games where limits are simply laughable.
There is no question about it, some guys have been honest 100%, but due to the "critical mass”, they have been blanketed over by the rogue players.
From the looks of it, I don't think it was a fund passing incident, I think it is match fixing incident. It reminds me of the Albanian games some years ago, where certain teams had ‘’events’’ with their odds. It was the same situation with Greek B league 10 years ago, or Seria B/C from Italy.
So if I had to select just 1 key take away from this story, this would be ‘’Never enable the bulk of your bankroll to an event that might be deemed as dubious’’.

Re: Orbit game investigated and funds frozen (resolved)
So happy to see the good outcome for everyone involved!
I would like to say a few things. I have been using BIA and Orbit since June of this year, and while reading a lot of complaint posts here, I was getting nervous. In past few months as per my experience, they have earned my trust. They resolved a small matter after a couple of emails to them. They settled my bets fairly and they always processed my withdrawals and deposits in time. (several of them).
From this incident, I am gathering that if we are fair to them, they are fair to us. (Just like any other relationship) We just need to have patience and not utter the bad words in anger!
Of course, while saying all this I also want to say that if they will ever be unfair to me, I will be the first person here to report about it! But from my experience so far, I trust Orbit and BIA 100%.
