Paddypower regular arb or palp ?
i saw a big arb today including paddypower and almost all other bookies. Halifax -Harrogate. Over 1.5 at paddypower @1.44 ....under 1.5 almost to all other bookies @5 .......I had an not limited account at paddypower do i placed a bet of 350 euros on 1.44 and placed a 100 euro bet on odds 5 at another bookie.... 5 minutes later i was limited at 10 euros bet on premier league on PP -.- and they dropped the 1.44 odd to 1.14 My question is may they void my bet after the match finishes or they are going to respect it as the match starts tomorrow so they have a lot of time and may void it before starting . The profit was like 11% so it looks like a palp... Any comments would be very appreciated! Thanks.

This is a dangerous one. I would check again and again few minutes before kick off.

They can still void it at the payout time. Point is you cant do nothing then, while if they void it before kick-off or even during the game you can cover the loose end.

Re: Paddypower regular arb or palp ?
They are not allowed (in my view) to void at payout time. if they were, they could just void all winning bets and claim "wrong lines" -> I would immediately stop using such a bookie.
If they void in-play, it's really bad as well, if the bet goes the wrong way you lose for sure.
There is no sense in hedging a leg with sub-optimal odds (in the long run).

In my opinion unless you have a very good reason to believe it's not a palp you shouldn't bet here.

They dictate their terms and they can do whatever they like. Shady books could void this after kick-off but Paddy is not one of them and hopefully they would void this well in advance.rickw wrote: They are not allowed (in my view) to void at payout time. if they were, they could just void all winning bets and claim "wrong lines" -> I would immediately stop using such a bookie.

What is wrong on voiding bets after match is finished is that no bookie would ever void it if the bet is a losing one...This would be a very nice surprise.... :/

Soft UK bookies will usually IMO just limit you heavily straight away if you take a palp...not worth the risk though. I think PP will pay...
