Dear Friends of Arbusers,
Please could you help me solve the following Parlay bets (combination bets) for me.I want to bet $500.00 on Asian handicap 0 and +0.5 with odd of 2.4 and moneyline baseball with odd of 2.5.
The First leg of the bet is 0 and +0.5 with of 2.4 and second leg is Baseball with odd of 2.5.
My question is if the first leg is a draw the calculation for the second leg of the bet should be like this 500 divide by 2 = 250 multiply by 2.4 = 600 multiply by 2.5 = 1500.
If the second leg of the bet wins I will win $1500.00
What happens if the Second leg of the bet looses will I loose the whole of the $500.00 or Do I loose just half of the $500 which is $250.00
My second question is I want to play middle with two team Parlay with $500.00 Stake (combination bets) , Over 8 and Baseball Moneyline with odd of 2.5.
The first leg of the bet is Over 8 with odd of 1.9 and second leg is Baseball with odd of 2.5.
My question is if the first leg of the bets is exactly 8 goals scored during the game, the calculation for the second leg of the bet should be like this 500 multiply by 2.5 = 1250
If the second leg of the bet wins I will win $1250 which means the bet is now classified as a single bet now.
Do I lose if the second leg wins or do I get my money refunded?
Does Bookies accept this type of bets?
Thanks,
Bobo.

Re: Parlay betting Help
First question. In a parlay, if you lose one bet you lose all. So if you lose you second bet you lose all, no matter the result of the first bet.
Regarding the first bet being a draw, you will get 500/2 (half return from the draw) and 500/2*2.4 = 600. that's 1.100. If you win the second, you will win 2.750 (1.100 * 2.5). Am I wrong? I don't play many parlay bets.

Re: Parlay betting Help
Answer #1 parlay is lost in that case
Answer #2 If your 1st match in parlay is voided and you have 2matches in parlay you have to count it like single bet.
Good luck with parlays

So from this for example with stake 500 eur will be only single bet on Baseball with od 2.5 and with original stake on parlay bet 500eur.The first leg of the bet is Over 8 with odd of 1.9 and second leg is Baseball with odd of 2.5.
Good luck with parlays

Re: Parlay betting Help
I don't suggest baseball for 1st leg of parlay. It's okay for final leg of parlay but can be dangerous if you picked it as 1st leg of parlay. Why?
1- Extra innings. They can even play for 4-5 hours.
2- Weather. Game may be postponed or interrupted.
In addition, you must keep an eye on starters. Your bets "may" be void if there's a change in starters.

Re: Parlay betting Help
i know that the best way to do this is to select games that take places one after the other . the less time between them, the better.
most of the times, i guess 85-95% the second arb is gone by the the time the first game is over.(gone as in odds changed). how do u guys deal with this situation?(if it goes down to the second game ofc.)

Re: Parlay betting Help
Well, it works usually on my favor actually. Let's say soft book odd (2nd game of parlay) is 2,25 and pinnacle odd is 1,91 by the time you placed your parlay bet. When 1st game ends, I see pinnacle odd raised to 1,95.
Sometimes, it goes the other way. It happens too. I had times where I had to make a negative arb like -%0.50. It happens. Try to pick a game with a higher % for 2nd leg in order to be safe.
Use your knowledge and try to pick a agame that you're feeling confident about it. Popular favourites good.
One more tip. Stay away from Miami and Spurs, you can't know when they will rest their star players.
