Implemented from the end of the 25/26 season, the English Premier League has voluntarily agreed to end all front of shirt sponsorships by gambling firms. The aim, is to reduce children’s incidental exposure to gambling logos while watching football. This will have a positive spill over effect via products such as stickers and video games, as well as the direct association with star players.
Let me add, this will stop some very rogue bookmakers to advertise their services in global audiences.

This is very good news, especially rogues like 1xbet and the likes, hopefully other leagues will join. Most of these bookmakers are big time criminals

For the big 6/7 leagues this is good turn, but you can see many small leagues are owned by some sportsbooks are the teams in these leagues are very dependent on this shirt sponsorships.Plousios Wind wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 1:39 pmThis is very good news, especially rogues like 1xbet and the likes, hopefully other leagues will join. Very good intentions to protect people, but too late.
Years ago, the UKGC broke 1xbet's cooperation with Chelsea, Liverpool and Hotspurs, but the constellation is still there in the UK. For example, 22bet is on every internet corner.
Recently I enjoyed the second ODI cricket derby held in Chelmsford, Ireland vs Bangladesh, and guess what? The constellation introduced the new stars 1xbAt and MelbAt. The letter "e" in the end was replaced by "a" and new stars complemented the last ones...
By the way, does anyone have any info on the weirdest bookie that has sponsored Man City? 8xbet sounds so suspicious.
