Made a fresh deposit at sportingbet (fortunately not a significant one..) ..after one bet i discovered the newly bestowed severe limits. I decided to withdraw my balance but these guys (and all others i think) have an antimoney laundering policy that states "you must bet each deposit at least once."  I am now trying to convince them to lift my limits so i can bet my remaining balance at the limits that were in place at the time the deposit took place as i was not aware of the limits so it seems to me like they are keeping my money hostages! No luck so far!!
What if my deposit was a big one?
Do you think my case makes any sence?

Ask them to withdraw with a fee. If its like 3-5% I would do it.
Or send them a polite message mentioning you are unable to bet your deposit with these limits so they should either raise the limits or allow you , just this one time, to get your deposit back

Only scam sites refuse to pay back in such cases. They are fully aware that if you deposit 1k and got limited to 5 / bet, nobody will place 200 bets only to get their money back ... Still think in the end they will send you back the money. Just behave nicely and usually they "fold". GL!

same thing happened to me last week with 188bet, deposited 4 grand and was limited to £10 max and they told
me I had to bet my deposit before I could withdraw, it was stressful thinking I had to spend so much time making these
bets, I demanded to speak to a supervisor, they eventually folded and decided to return my deposit, one of the many
occupational hazards of this job I'm afraid.

I dont think Sportingbet will be that much kind, even though i hope so.

Stergio I have the same problem but I think I am in a much difficult position. I deposit 100 and I have taken the 100% bonus. Now I am trying to loose the money by betting only big matches and  big odds but it is too difficult! I bet on a champions league last week 50 euros on Valencia and yesterday 30€ on benfica. Hope I will loose till finished! I will think it a lot before continue use this family( vista bet-sportingbet). I am afraid if I don't loose and complete the rollover and ask for withdrawal they will keep the 100€ bonus and the winnings that the bonus created. I have read somewhere that they have problems with greek customers only! Any suggestions?

After an oficial complain to sportingbet the answer is the same ... i'm gonna have to bet the remaining funds according to their limits! It's doable for me since my remaining balance is low but honestly i would prefer playing monopoly than placing 3 and 5 euro bets! I was lucky for not depositing more.  The thing is this behavior is totally unfair for every bettor ... i think that since a bookie accepts a deposit at spesific limits they should allow bets at same limits for at least a total sum of the deposit otherwise by lowering the limits to scrapts is like they're keeping the deposit "hostage"! there was no bonus and no other promotion involved in the spesific deposit and my balance with them is minus several hundreds.


dci2121  as soon as you complete the rollover the better .. avoid big odds though cause when they hit your balance with them skyrockets.

are you limited to small bets on tennis with sportingbet aswell?

i can still bet few hundred on tennis with them on a limited account.

Tennis limit for me yesterday was 12€ wtf!!!

So Sportingbet start the limits as marathon? I don't know if i try with diff id or i ll never use them again....
BTW they provide good opportunities ....

Once, I deposited to a offside clone bookie and I noticed they cut my limits to 3€. Guess what? I had to place 300-400 bets before completiny my rollover, lol.

The funny thing is, I completed the rollover with 65€ profit, lol.

Just hilarious since some of the shittier books are money-laundering operations first, and sportsbooks second.

I took the bonus in sportingbet.After a few weeks i deposited more than 1.000 pounds.
Then i realized that i was limited to 5 pounds.
I just withdrew my money.Nobody ask me for anything.Not even documents.
Bwin wasng giving me beack my money.My limit was 81 pounds so i managed to got out of there in a couple of days.Also in combos they have higher limits.
