I can never access SBOBET via https. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Since it is a security issue, I'd really like to access it via SSL on https but it will always load on http://

I have also e-mailed them but to no solution. Tried different browsers, different operating systems but still nothing.

you must be rather maniac to try only ssl-sites - I am sure sbobet does not care about such an issue and does not offer ssl for pure betting...

It's not mania whatsoever. If you care about yourself,your security,your funds, your accounts, you should ALWAYS use https://.
In fact, even with SSL on, people, such your ISP people, can still see your credentials. You would just make it harder.

Imagine if someone stole your account on Betfair and started backing odds of 1.01 

Your actual login goes over https, you may not see it in the browser, but it does. After that, your password is not (or should not, I didn't check)  be communicated through cookies or other connection data, so you should be rather safe, assuming your PC does not have any trojans. SSL of course doesn't help in that matter
