Treatment to female bettors
I have been active in the betting ecosystem for the past 5 months. Unfortunately I noticed that my betting activities are restricted by a number of bookmakers. Some of them no longer allow me to bet a decent amount of money. Does the fact that I am a woman have anything to do with it? Do bookmakers behave differently on female accounts? Do they consider betting a male only privilege and right? Is this Europe or Iran really? What is your opinion?

Re: Treatment to female bettors
Hello Martina
There's a possibility that you're getting limited stakes because it's pretty rare to find a female sports bettor so normally bookies assume it's a sharp sports bettor who got restricted using account details of a female colleague to keep betting with that particular bookmaker.

I think they prefer a girl placing mug bets to a boy playing sharp, never mind the gender.
Logically if my 86 grandmother sign in, bookies will pay more attention to that pfofile.

Re: Treatment to female bettors
When it comes to money and interests, I am afraid there is no-one in this world who would think in gender equality terms. As stated in various threads in our forum, bookmakers are profiling players starting from their very first click in their websites, adding or deducting points according to measurable and well studied criteria. Unfortunately, these criteria are showing a bigger than normal risk for bookmakers coming from female bettors. This could be happening because many male bettors are using the profiles of their wives/girlfriends/mothers/grand mothers etc in order to circumvent restrictions and limits already imposed to their own accounts. So, no, it is not Iran, it is still Europe in real life terms.
I would like to add a side note at this point. I am attending various industry conferences for more than 10 years. I am noticing more female entrepreneurs year by year. It is not a booming number, but if we continue like this maybe in some years female audience will be much bigger than what it is today. I discussed that with various actors of the betting industry and they also noticed the same. But there is an asterisk here. Most of these female entrepreneurs are seeing gambling as a side profit and not as the main focus of there business, and the traffic they bring, it is of fine quality of genuine bettors, but of very low stakes. That said, maybe bookmakers would be happy to see female bettors using their services, but with much lower stakes compared to male counterparts.

Re: Treatment to female bettors
I think that women are much more intelligent than men. They don't waste their hard-work money in betting.
Anyway, jokes out. 95% of bettors are men. But, it is curious to see that some of the most powerful managers in the industry, are women. For example the CEO of Bet365.

Very true.
All in all, it's a blessing when somewhere in your life you meet people with extraordinary mental levels. They implicitly invite you to follow them in any way possible, aiding your evolution. However, this can only be appreciated by you if your ego is normal and balanced.
And when a very inspiring and smart Woman appeared on the scene…

Hey Martina N,
I'm afraid that while you are being treated like this, you need to involve your male partner in the business.

I doubt you're being limited because you're female. If you were a losing bettor, they will gladly accept your action.

Over all I m a losing customer. I manage not to lose during the World Cup being slightly up but later my lack switched sides. Now I am losing low 3 figures. I started losing after being limited if that tells you something. Theoriticaly if they didn't limit me they would make more. I m not sure if i should thank them or not.

95% is conservative, probably over 99% I'd say, and sadly if Martina starts winning big amounts, most bookies will maker her life miserable, that's the sad truthCharlieSheen99 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 2:49 pmI think that women are much more intelligent than men.
