I am starting this thread for the US Presidential elections that will be held November 5th 2024. I m sure we have many interesting things to say for betting and politics. After all, both are part of the money making process.

Someone did exactly this. He bet Donald Trump to be the official GOP presidential nominee with very large amounts of money. Now he is covering the bet. Potentially one of the biggest trades in terms of liquidity. Returns offered by bookies on Trump were very high at some point because of all the dramas expected. But the dramas made him a stronger candidate. High conviction pays high returns. This was maybe a once in lifetime opportunity for election betting. I dont think you can find high value odds now on this elections. The situation is very unstable and almost unpredictable.

What a shame! Someone is sharing his knowledge for free and you guys bully him for that. Why would you do that? Because you too bet on these elections 1 year in advance.

But on the other hand. If you bet on an event that early, then we know that your overall ROI is what, 30-40% per year. Is this the best you can do? And you call your self an arber?
