Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, only recently I started taking value betting (dropping odds) more seriously, I've read plenty of posts here however my experience so far has not been good, I would like to know if I'm doing something completely wrong, or how I can improve. Here's what happened in the last few days:
Bet365 closed my account after just 20 bets, flat stake of 3 euros, didn't even profit from those bets.
Marathonbet now seem to have limited me to max bets of 0.20 euros after 60 bets.
Average odds of bets on both accounts were 2.5, only bet on obscure leagues prematch, and I know this is big red flag to bookies, but I had no idea they were so fast and so aggressive on the limits.
Going into the next bookie, what should I change? Can throwing a couple of random bets on popular leagues actually delay the limiting?
Should I expect this same treatment from most bookies? Reading threads here I thought limitations occured after months and even then you could still bet reasonable amounts.

Re: Valuebetting and getting limited in no time
Hello, I'm not a bet365 expert because my account was banned 4 years ago together with other thousand ones, I did arb so no surprise at all.
One year later, I began collaborate with my sister, I send her the bet and she places it on her mobile and the account is lasting for years (not limited)...
BUT...
we bet on Pinnacle side and not against it on the rare cases we can.
This the only way (based on personal experience) to let the account alive.
Maybe other people place mug bets among value bets but I don't know for sure.
Marathon, Efbet (because you are italian) have good odds but limit fast no matter the stake, I don't use them anymore.

Re: Valuebetting and getting limited in no time
Nah, why mug bets would work? I tried that in bet365, tried to bet extreme carefully, mostly mug bets and occasionally value bets. Occasionally I mean I managed to place 3-4 value bets (and it was 3-4 years ago, not now), odds were smashed as I predicted and account limited straight after big odds steam in one game. Man bookies arent dumb, they exactly know what people trying to do, they detect you place value bet, one or two and you are done. Do you really think they are able to spot your single value bet placed with 200 euro and are dumb enough to see that other mug bets are 5 euros? Why would they risk losing money letting bet someone who know how to spot value bets? Shitloads of other customers betting mainstream, they dont need any risk here.

It looks like you are doing something wrong or maybe country issues, payment method, device, etc etc.

Re: Valuebetting and getting limited in no time
Yes, however I had that account sitting and inactive for more than a year after they rejected my documents for whatever reason, now I didn't have any problems getting my id verifiedWolfie wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 7:04 pmWas it your personal first bet365 or you have used more than one in this device ?

Re: Valuebetting and getting limited in no time
Maybe you are using a bot ? 20 bets, flat 3 eur stake. No one with a fresh bet365 account would use it with 3 eur stake. Or is it a replacement for paper trading ?

It surprises me even more as I only deposited 100eur, they treated me like I could get them bankrupt
Re: Valuebetting and getting limited in no time
I manually place bets coming from an alert service of dropping odds from Pinnacle, this caused every bet I placed to give me the possibility to cash out in profit before the match started (didn't cash out once tho), and I'm aware this is very bad flag to them, but I expected to have stakes limited first.

Re: Valuebetting and getting limited in no time
This is the reason of limitation. You are in a pool of many accounts which make the same bets with the same strategy. The volume does not matter. Once big data analysis gets you, they limit you.fralau wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2023 12:47 pmI manually place bets coming from an alert service of dropping odds from Pinnacle, this caused every bet I placed to give me the possibility to cash out in profit before the match started (didn't cash out once tho), and I'm aware this is very bad flag to them, but I expected to have stakes limited first.
