But it might not be a bad idea to prepare your backup plan B and emergency plan C in case you become a very profitable player, through a repeated pattern of hard work, collecting the positive expected value/trade profits in the long run if the original exchange/white label to increase your commission or "investigate" you and block your funds and activity.

Just my two cents, nothing more.

Addendum: What about the case where they cancel some positions in your trading activity after the event ends... Think about how to manage some negative trading consequences afterward...

good old days when arbers used to make 40-50k a month are long gone.
nowadays, you should be thankful even if you can make 7-10k a month.
just like many business, arbitrage business is slowly dying. that's why many arbers swtiched to value betting but it's not scalable like arbing.
therefore, my advice is to focus on other new areas such as crypto trading.

If arbing is scalable, then value betting is scalable too.

Limits come the same if you are taking value or arbing almost at any bookmakers. It is not true that accounts last longer if you do value. The only advantage is that each bookmaker is a separate business case and you are not dependent on other bookies to close the bet.

With arbing not even 7-10k a month nowadays
When I used to make a lot more than that

With value betting I don't waste my time...

What is the situation with Arbitration in Ireland?

It's a pity because they have three local bookmakers: Ladbrokes, Boylesports and Paddypower. I thought he was going to deal with the arbitrator.

Hello guys,

I'am new to this forum and in the arb "world".

I'm doing live arb for 1 month using BB with small amount of money and I'am also reading this forum and searching for arb, value bots etc.

I also talking with some people that doing arb for years and trying to collect information.

Reading all the recent posts about arbing nowdays I have disappointed and I'am thinking if it is worth to give time for this industry or leave it.

Some guys told me to start with Value Bet because Arb is dead and focus on it, but Value needs big amount of money...

I'am also reading that some guys was earning about 10k+ per month and in my eyes this is incredible, because I'am leaving in a Country that the average salary is 800euros per month. So If I can earn like 2k per month for me is very good because I'am 24 and as a junior developer I earn 1.2k per month.

Not gonna lie I wanted to start it as a part time to earn an exta 1k but reading all of this I'am getting dissapointed.

BTW for 1 month with small amounts I have profit, I'am betting small amounts until I learn it, I'am betting BACK & LAY (Booker & Betfair Clone)

Feel free to share your opinion.

It was possible to make 10k a month with arbing, but not anymore

In your profession you can just use the extra time to get extra projects for more experience. This way you can earn maybe 3k monthly by the time you are 26. If you land a remote work you can get even 5k monthly. I think return on time investment is better in your profession than arbing or value betting.

Yes I totally understand it, not gonna lie from my minimum 1month trial in "arb" I am excited but yes maybe you are right and it is not worth to focus on it... my dream is to be my own boss, that the main reason I wanted to start it, but maybe is late. Never mind I will keep arbing and search more about value bet for 1 year and next Sept if the profit/time is not worth I will leave it.
