You can anyway use the normal windows 7 interface or install other browsers if you don't like the new IE.

Re: Windows 8
It's almost windows 7 interface. The start button is not there, but the rest of the interface is very similar. I heard windows 9 maybe will bring the start button back. Anyone heard this?Thordin wrote: Cant you use the normal windows 7 interface like ppintaluba said?

Re: Windows 8
You can upgrade to 8.1 and that brings back the start button but not the menu. You can also downgrade to 7 but I think the new interface is here to stay so we might as well get used to it.ppintaluba wrote:It's almost windows 7 interface. But I must say MAC computers are very good in many ways. But I feel like an alien in texas when using it, lol.
Re: Windows 8
Some programs I run don't work in MAC. And I always used Windows-based computers so MAC sounds very stranger to me. Can't just get adapted to it. (I don't say Windows is good. Windows sucks imo)caraPan wrote: I will say in two words:

You are welcome.

Re: Windows 8
I was like you Yngwie, I just used Windows, until I decided to learn Mac and a new world opened in front of my eyes.
I have a windows server with the programs I need to run in windows and I have like another window in my Mac.
My mac boot last 7 seconds. When you learn macintosh you'll realize that windows is like the cheap chinese copy and you will hate it. Besides you'll learn to use in one week and it is worth.
