Withdrawing

Sat Sep 22, 2012 9:28 am

Hello all,

Really informative forum.

I have tried everything, systems, sports trading and good old fashioned betting. After a while of trading I found especially on horses that you could make a little without losing which I now know as arbing/sure bets.

Off I went to do some research thinking it was as easy as finding book makers with odds that are out of sync on th 1x2 market. I didn't take an alert service because that would be wasted money. I soon got frustrated with this method as I was finding very little to paper trade. I went back and found some free alert services and off I went again. I didn't make lots off these but the one big step forward it gave me was the different arbs and how they work. I finally open up an e wallet account and dropped 1k into it. Now I have had certain bookies for years so I missed out on bonus doing it this way but always take bonus if bookies offer them.

I started on 2 sept properly and gave my part time evening job up, I still have a full time job but my partner and I have had a baby so when she went back to work I had to give up evening job. From 2 sept I have just hit £150 for the month which is more than I picked up from my part time job. This was done by free trials so next month I have a decision to make on my own or alert service.

Now for my question . . .

When I was arbing on the horses stan James prices compared to bet fair always gave a nice profit, but I had 4 winners on the trot in SJ which put my bet fair account to 0 so I withdrew some money and put it back into BF. another 3 winners and I was empty on Bf. withdrew some money and got limited well account closed!

I have now been using multiple bookies but now my money is in accounts I don't want it to be in, how would you go about withdrawing this without raising suspicion, if you can?

Sorry for long post, thought some of my experience may help someone else.

Hi Ian, and welcome to the forum.
Congrats for the new born baby. I hope it has good health and good luck to all life.

Now, lets talk about horse arbing. In general, bookmakers will limit you faster and more severely if you arb on horses, than if you arb on sports. The reason is that their liquidity in horse racings is less, and that means that the possibility for them, to lose money, is much higher than sports betting. Keep that in mind.
I m surprised that you had 7 bets with StanJames. Usually, kind Stan is limiting after 2-3 arbs in horse racings. Expect similar behavior from other bookmakers, such us Bwin and Ladbrokes.

You had a winning streak with StanJames and at the same time a losing streak with Betfair. Unfortunately this will happen again and again. I m not telling you that you will have these kind of streaks 99%, not even 50%, but keep in mind that bookmaker's side always has a better value, since Betfair's odds represent the real market price. The same applies to Pinnacle and the Asians.
During the last 10 years that i m arbing, i noticed that there is a constant flow of money from Betfair, Pinnacle and the Asians, to soft bookmakers. To make a long story short, if we place a huge number of bets, and the amount staked is 100, then 52 will go to soft bookies, and 48 will stay in BF, Pinn and Asians.

In order to avoid having to deposit and redeposit, you should keep some money in e-wallets as a back up. My strategy is to keep 30% of my money as a back up in MB, ready to fire. This is why you need surplus of money when you arb/trade seriously.

Now, the important question is this:

I suppose that you are playing with your id, so there are no security issues.
Most likely, you will raise suspicion. You cant avoid this. But this doesnt mean that all bookmakers will limit you at once. Lets suppose that you have to withdraw from 5 bookmakers (you know the exact number). If you withdraw from all of them, then 2 or 3 bookmakers will limit you. It depends on who the bookmakers are. You are not mentioning any names, so i m giving you a general stat.

If i was in your shoes, i would withdraw only from 1 bookmaker. This bookmaker must be the bookmaker that i expect to be limited for sure. Transfer this money to betfair, and continue arbing. If money gets out from a bookmaker and ends in betfair, then everything is fine. If not, repeat the process with the next bookmaker.

I hope i helped.

Arbusers,

Thanks very helpful.

I have ended up with 60% of my money in coral. They have started sending my to trader and then rejecting them saying stake already reach. So I think I'm going to withdraw most of that money.

I haven't got multiple ID yet but I might try my partners with SJ.

Cheers

Maybe you already know all this but here are a few suggestions: If the new account is in the name of a woman, it is more likely to get limited quickly (SJ restricted it to $5 before the first bet) Make sure your computer is clean of cookies(including flash cookies) before you open new accounts - even then it's not 100% fool-proof. Try to have different residential and IP addresses as well.

Bookmakers don't like us to withdraw money :-)
In general, withdrawing calls bookmakers attention and limits will come sooner.
