The cash back period started yesterday night. I just renewed my banner in the front page.
Guys, if your account is not referred by anyone, this might be your chance to win something more.

Did you receive an email from MB regarding the promotion? I did not.
Are diamond vips excluded from the promotion? ;-)

I guess everyone will eventually receive e-mail, but you can find promotion in your account, or through this link:https://www.moneybookers.com/vip/

I received the email a few hours ago. Just like helias said, it is very similar to the last promotion. (however only 0.2% cashback on betfair deposits)

Skrill: wtf kind of dumb name is that? At least Moneybooker was descriptive, but what is skrill supposed to mean?

I've always half-jokingly thought that the name change is a great example of corporate espionage, sabotage division. A Neteller agent well placed in the Moneybookers marketing department did his job exceptionally well. To the native English speakers it is obvious that 'skrill' has purely negative connotations. It immediately reminds one of 'shill' and shady business in general. It is in fact very difficult to come up with a worse name; the best I could do is 'Skam'. But to push this one through proved too difficult even for our able agent.

We don't like the new name because we are used to call them Moneybookers. The short name is certainly an advantage.
